Foods.
Jafar, Jafar, He's The Man, If He Can't Do It, GREAT!!!
I dropped my phone today, and although it wasn't the first time
it was probably the final straw for my little nokia 5200.
Throughout our history together I've dropped it hundreds of times.
Today when it fell from my jacket pocket,
the screen turned into a kind of touchscreen..
like, it would light up at my touch and then go back to being dead.
Other times, it would just go haywire and flash nonstop.
And I needed to call people to gather at Melbourne Central!!!
(a Christ-expo was going for the whole week at RMIT)
So I called Alison and we met up
then soon after that, Yan, Jase and Ryan showed up respectively
and we were off to dinner at Oriental Spoon! :)
I was so freaked out about 'bridging' church and kendo friends,
but it ended up being quite a pleasant dinner.
Except the bit where we seriously couldn't decide what to eat.
After dinner we ventured off to RMIT Storey Hall,
for... *drum rolls* PROFESSOR DON CARSSONNNNNNNNN!
(awesome Christian-speaker booked 6 years in advance!)
He was going to speak about 'Does God Have a Son?'
from a passage in the book of John in the Bible.
So we enjoyed music from a band, drama from the bible passage,
and then a very deep and interesting talk by the professor himself.
although Jase had to leave early,
Yan and Ryan agreed that it was definitely thought-provoking.
Then we hung around outside the theatre after it..
I accidentally snobbed Peter Adams (also quite good) off,
when Jacky was going to introduce me to him
BECAUSE I was following Alison to meet someone else.
:( I was quite sorry afterward, because
I was about to make amends by introducing myself again,
then he said to the Don, 'Let's head off' and turned around
and I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
But soon people went home so then Jacky, Bri, Als and Iwent to Coles (Footscrazy) because Als was going to bake
ANDDD THENNN when we got out of Brian's car,
we heard this atrocious noise like someone was dying
coming out from the car behind ours, and
it was like 'UGHHHH... UGHHHHHHHHHHHUGHHH'
and we were thinking, 'Aooowww crapp... we're it,
we're gonna be the ones who found the half-dead guy..
we're gonna have to be the ones to report it to the police.. gahh'
but Brian went to have a look and he's like,
OMGOSH guys it was just a dog.
Thank goodness. How awkward if it was indeed a half-dying man.
Anyway. It was a fun night :)

Work. Or More like, None.
:S
I hate waiting for shift-texts on Sundays.
1. Come on, who likes to wait? And wait anxiously?
2. It's so late in the week :/
I didn't get a text for work this week again.
And it doesn't make much sense
because my boss told me himself that I did well last time.
My friends who also work there got their shifts.
I don't understand.
Poo, it's high time I got another job--more consistent.
Gay. I'm slightly pissed off.

LetzZz t0rk PoL!Tikx.
I REGRET VOTING THE GREENSSS.
Blame it on my late-acquired knowledge on our Australian politics
(Note, I suck.)
Gillard wants to make school 6 days a week
She's in a de-facto relationship with some guy
(not the best example of like, the traditional values?!)
and I still biasedly think she's an evil cow for replacing Rudd.
I liked him.
Boo Labor, stuff yas.
AND PLEASE MOVE YOUR OFFICE AWAY, JULIA GILLARD
We don't wantcha among us in our suburb :@
That is all. Gurghgfkjhfg
Nothing much to be said on Abbott
except he's probably one sleep-deprived workaholic :P
And he's intimidating and weird.
Over and oot.

Sensational.
Today was another one of those great, a-smile-as-its-residue days :D
FIRST OFF... I survived a meaningless, 9am chem-tute
with the help of some awesome people I'd recently befriended
before we found ourselves seated in the Copland Theatre,
laughing our heads off at yet another Prosh Week stunt
(on Wednesday we witnessed a parade of naked people in a lecture)
This one included my social-freak friend, who was a guy,
who was supposedly betrothed to another guy dressed in a suit,
and waiting down the front of the lecture hall.
There was a crowd of people who accompanied them,
as well as a chorus at the back, singing the matrimonial anthem.
My lecturer did the honour of serving as the ceremonial priest
(we were all wondering why he threw on a black robe
that made him look like Lord Voldemort [he was bald and very tall])
and at the end of the vows, THEY KISSED HAHAHAHA.
Then a random naked guy charges in after they've all left,
screaming 'I OBJECTTT!!! I OBJECTTT!!!!!!!!' LOLLL. Yuck.
In Bio I went down the front to sit with Steph and Amanda,
and we laughed through it, thank goodness--it's dry this semester.
For physics, however, we just got a new lecturer and
he's too quiet, too English (not a good combo) and he reads off slides
so Amanda and I were in a small dilemma--to skip, or not to skip?
We made it as far as sitting all the way in the back in the theatre,
and then I was like NOOO LET'S SKIP THIS and she was like okay?!
And then I said, skip it--yes?! and she's like OKAY LET'S DO IT
and I assumed that was the cue to escape this lecture,
so I charge all the way down the steps to the front doors
(completely forgetting about the proximity of the BACK doors--idiot)
so the whole theatre saw me run down like I was on fire
and when I turn around to close the doors behind me,
I saw that Amanda was still sitting in her seat, looking a bit stunned
which meant I looked even more like a loser, solo-ditching a lecture
but then when I waited outside for a bit, Amanda showed up
Apparently she felt compelled (and loyal) to charge out the same way
LOL so it was like, me running out all the way down the front,
and after a few mins, she runs out the same way. Fools together!
Then we were kind of lost on what to do with an extra hour
so we ventured on Lygon St :)
THENNN cut to the chase to when I began workkk,
I had my shift with a barista I'd never worked with before
but she was the one who took my resume when I first went in
it was a really nice shift--she was friendly, unlike the scary one ahah
and at the end of it, my boss told me I did really well :D
plus there were these two corporate-biz peoporrrh who came in,
recognised me and told my boss I was 'employee material',
cheered me on while I cleaned up the place, haha.
AAAND I had the pleasure of meeting Emma,
this lady who said she was running for the Australian Sex Party
(she wore the T shirt and everrrything!) and I wished her luck
Not that I would be voting for her but anyhow.
Now I'm sort of dazed. And thinking about voting..
I do NOT like Gillard. And there's something not quite right with Abbot.
Therefore..
Go Greens. They might actually win--that's what Amanda fears anyway.
Speaking of anyway, goodnight lovers :)

A Few Things I Definitely Want to Watch/Finish Watching.
1. Daria
Fo' shizzle ma nizzleee I must buy. MUSTTT.
It's only like, one of the coolest cartoons ever.
And I personally think Daria reflects my average attitude.
:)
2. Mad Men.
I love how it's recently been filmed,
but it's based on the 60's?
So it's got this whole 60's-TV look to it
but it's funny because everyone in it speaks like we do.
3. True Blood.
I heard it's good.
Thrice.
4. Family Guy
I must finish what I started, in 2008!
It is absolutely hilarious and it doesn't have a story,
so you can pretty much watch any ep, any time :)
5. American Dad
Very Family-Guy-esque.
Well, it's by the same guy/girl/whatever.
Also quite funny :)
Inspired by today's procrastination session with Nat.
There's a downside to having both
wireless internet and a laptop at your disposal haha.

TAKE THAT, MR./MRS./BOTH ANONYMOUS!!!
I have edited my account settings.
So hopefully this works,
meaning this 'Anonymous' person will not be able to comment.
Unless *it* shows *it*self.
It's been JUST a taddd annoying/lame,
reading these comments and not knowing who it is.
The end.

They're called Bobby Pins, NOT hair-clips. :)
:) I just wanted to share that
I think I'm getting steadily better at kendo.
Today's session was really good,
and I left the dojo with injuries of pride.
AND I made it home on time,
after screaming goodbyes as I ran..
like a crazy lady.
Speaking of crazy lady
Jackson almost ran her over with his car
(unintentionally though, of course)
the other day driving home from church.
And I had a very interesting conversation
with my friend Ryan today,
about his sharp stomach pains
and how he suspects the cause to be
a strange curry he made for lunch today
consisting of weird things like pumpkin
and dates :| !!!
But anyway. 6 hours of uni, non-stop
plus intense kendo,
and I made it out alive.
Quite pleased with how it turned out today.

And Along Comes Parental Disciprrrine.
Far out!
I'd go out with people and have a nice day,
and when I come home,
there's always a lecture or two from my mum.
Seriously. Always.
Like duh, of course it'd be my fault,
but really--every single time?!
It's annoying how it happens.
Totally ruins the after-glow of a good time out.
Blah, annoying.
That's all.

Westside Ugliness.
I saw some pretty retarded things this afternoon.
On top of that, the rain and cold were taunting and cruel!
These are the aforementioned retarded things:
1. A girl, seemingly aged around 13-15 smoking.
SMOKING. In her little runners and kiddish backpack!!!
SMOKING. A girl of HER age group,
SMOKING.
What has this world come to.
2. A poltergeistic boy of about 12,
(whose buddie was spitting all over the ground and
ALSO SMOKING)
stuck his finger up at cars at the bus stop
and swore the most heinous curses,
e.g. 'HOLY SH--!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
over the stupidest things,
seeking attention also through the stupidest things
and attempted to harass people on the bus,
before boisterously hopping off with his friend.
Some kids, just urghhh.
Anyway it was viciously cold today.
But I had a nice time with Cathleen, Jasmine and Grace.
We went out for lunch at DeGraves Pl,
:) it was a lovely catch up.
Except the bit where Cathleen woke up at 12
(we were meeting at 12) haha.
Jasmine and I had soup and bread & pastizzi
Cathleen had 'Eggs Benedict' and Grace pancakes :)
Nomnom. Then we strolled through Bourke St.
By the way how cute is this maple-syrup thing!
Oh and I'm in a hopeless, little haze :).
Over and oot. xx
